What makes a place home? Is it where the people we love are? Where we feel the strongest connection to our heritage? Where we pass the small moments of our lives? I Have Been Here Before muses on the notion of home, and expresses determination in the face of challenges to home like affordability, climate change and colonisation.
Works by Samantha Dick, Leena Nammari, Emily Randall, Ola Rek and Emma Sutherland interpret home as a source of comfort, community, pride and memories that inform who we are.
