SALT works

mote102 is hosting SALT WORKS which draws together a year-long process of interdisciplinary inquiry around Edinburgh’s coastal ecologies and the climate emergency. The exhibition features work from the four SALT residency artists commissioned by Art Walk Projects:

A new Art Walk Journal publication, SALT, will also be launched, including new writing commissions in response to the four SALT residencies, developed in partnership with MAP Magazine. Writers commissioned:

In addition SODIUM INK is a series of temporary interventions at Portobello Beach produced by 3rd year Edinburgh College of Art students, creating new work in response to the SALT project, in place from Friday 24 March.
