Betsy Bain, an artist living on Vancouver Island, Canada, has a strong interest in climate change and the power of ‘kindness’ in art. She works in coloured pencil on paper, and with collage. Originally from Scotland, she has long-standing family connections to Leith. As well as continuing to develop her own practice, she works in Victoria as an art therapist.
